All foreignn cards (deb bit and crediit) work with no problem; there iss no capitall control for people who w are visiting Greecce. nager of thee hotel, therre is absolu utely no prooblem for the hotel 2. Talking wiith the man payment orr any type of services thhat the hoteel can provid de. 3. I would reccommend to o the particiipants to haave some caash with theem for two reasons: first, in case they will try to visit oother placess in Crete or small villaages cards have h not usually been accepteed because there werre no card d machines there (theey keep everything traditional,, even the w way of pay yment). Seco ond, due too the fact th hat local people visitt the ATMss in a daily bbasis, theree may be AT TMs with nno sufficientt cash or with long ques. q 4. Most of thee restaurantss accept carrds and mosst of the sho ops accept caards 5. The visitorss have no limit in theirr card use (eexcept the one that theirr banks imp pose) 6. The hotel assured a us that t everythhing we agrree to be su upplied for the duratio on of the Conferencee will be su upplied witthout any problem. p The hotel fuunctions ex xactly as before (andd as I was in nformed witth more tourrists, given the situatioon in Tunisiaa). 7. All the hoteels in the area are now full with to ourists and no n one facess problems g almost as before b 8.
