Massaro Farm’s camp for 6-9 year-olds is led by experienced environmental educators. Campers have fun while getting a close-up view of the natural world and a greater awareness of the environment we inhabit.
Daily activities include stories, exploration of the farm and nature trail, natural crafts and a healthy snack.
Registration form What we offer… Our camp’s focus is based on the mission of Massaro Community Farm: Keep farming; Feed people; Build community. Campers will actively explore the farm’s 57 acres of woods, fields and wetlands, including 7 acres of crops in active production. Campers participate in structured activities that encourage learning about nature, the daily operations of a working organic farm, healthy food and nutrition, and the interconnectedness of all living things. The farm includes a walking trail, stream, a Learning Garden, a newly established butterfly garden, honeybee apiaries, a flock of chickens and a solar-powered dairy barn. A typical day is focused on a theme, with time for learning and exploration, a healthy snack, games, stories and a craft. Our experienced teaching staff is certified in first aid and CPR, with a staff-to-camper ratio of 1:8

Massaro Community Farm is a non-profit, certified organic farm on a 57 acre parcel of land in Woodbridge, Connecticut, 15 minutes northwest of New Haven. Our mission is to keep farming, feed people, and build community. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life for generations to come.
I hereby give my permission for the aforementioned child(ren) to participate in the program known as Massaro Summer Camp/Woodbridge Recreation whether the activities are located on the property of the town of Woodbridge or not. I do hereby release and discharge the Town of Woodbridge, Massaro Community Farm, Inc. and the Woodbridge Recreation Department, it’s agents, servants and employees from any liability whatsoever that may result in injury or bodily harm, including death, or property damage that said child might sustain while participating in the aforementioned program(s).
