Tomrods Ltd was incorporated in 1973 and is now one of the UK’s largest, family-run, independent steel stockholders. We supply stock lengths and
semi-processed steel to our local and export customers on a just-in-time
basis. We provide a quality product ~ at the right price ~ and believe in a programme of constant upgrading and continual improvement of all
aspects of our business.
This brochure has been produced to give you an insight into our products

At Tomrods Ltd, we can offer a variety of key additional services including:
Shotblasting and Painting...
We offer all customers the facility of having all products shotblasted and primer
painted through our new Gietart fully-automated plant. We can also offer ‘free
issue service’ shotblasting and painting your own material.
EEC regulations now insist on the use of water-based paints and this
machine is one of the first in the UK to offer this important
environmentally-friendly feature.
Sawing...
We are continually investing in new cutting facilities and now have a
semi-automatic bandsaw capable of straight, mitre and bundle cutting all sizes.
We can also offer individual marking and identification as well as bundling into
kit form to enable you to process the steel more efficiently.
Decoiling...
We buy wire rod and flat rolled steel in coil form that can be cut to your exact length requirements. Please ask our sales team for more information.
Export...
We are capable of offering export solutions to the European community and many other countries around the world.
Cutting and Drilling Line...
additional services We can offer an in-house automated cutting and drilling line suitable for the drilling of all structural sections. Just email us your requirements and we can do the rest! Please ask for details.
