Baked Blogging Banana Bread
Email Marketing Flambé Ingredients: 1 Catchy Newsletter Title 2 Fresh Content Sections 1 Special Holiday Promotion 1 Creamed Call-to-Action 1 Medium-Sized Striking Subject Line (Usually 40-50 Characters) 1 Bunch Opt-in Client Email List Additional Ingredients for Extra Spice (Optional) 3-4 Short Sprigs of Your Blog 1-2 Ripe Related Images Directions: 1. Begin by organizing your Opt-in Client Email List and deciding who exactly your email campaign will target. In some cases this may be the entire list, in other cases you may choose to segment your list to target specific demographics. For Example: If you were a woman’s perfume company you would probably be able to divide your opt-in list or target market into different segmented groups, such as: teens and young adult women, males purchasing for women and middle-aged women. Each of these groups you would approach in different ways be cause their interests and engagement preferences are different. Once you have your list in place, set it to the side until you’re a ready to launch your campaign.
2. Next, start throwing around ideas for your Special Holiday Promotion-something catchy that will spark a flame in your customers. Once the promotion is ready, start building fresh related content that compliments your promotion. For Example: If your promotion was a new limited-time holiday fragrance you could write content like “The Top 5 Gifts for Women” and include the perfume in that list or “Choosing a Scent for That Special Some one” and you could provide tips for men when selecting a fragrance for a women.
3. Now that you have your special holiday promotion and fresh related content simmering, it is time to add a catchy newsletter title and a medium-sized striking subject line. Your newsletter title should relate to the content of your email and get people excited about reading it. Your subject line-the most important part of this process– should be strategically developed. This is what will determine whether your email gets opened or sent to the garbage bin. Typically, the subject line is between 40-50 words and should wet the appetite of your email recipients, without giving away the whole “shebang”. For Example: A subject line for the limited-time holiday fragrance could be “One Scent, Two Scent, Three Scent… Your Scent” or “Do you know what fragrance makes her smile?” Note: Creating different subject lines for each of your opt-in list segments is the best approach.
4.
Finally, the last ingredient in preparing your Email Marketing Flambé is adding your creamed call-to-action. What's the purpose sending an email if you don't ask your customers to do something beyond just reading your information? Your call-to-action can do many things and may vary depending on the overall promotional goal of your email; in other words, it does not have to be as obvious as “Buy My Product or Service Now”. Your call-to -action may be something like asking customers to click on a link, fill out a survey, or simply asking customers to make a purchase. Whatever call-to-action you choose, just make sure you actually have one. Additional Ingredients for Extra Spice Adding a few short sprigs of your blog is a great way to insert another element into your email marketing campaigns. Not only is it another way to get readers engaged, but it is another channel to lead them to your website and move them through the sales process. One or two ripe related images is another way to increase the customer interest flame. Images can speak a thousand words, if used appropriately. For best results, avoid using irrelevant stock images that have no value to your message. A photo or image that relates directly to the product, promotion or customer’s need will almost always be more effective!
Deep Fried Turkey Who can really do effective holiday marketing on an empty stomach….? We couldn’t, so we didn’t think you should have to either! So, here is a real delicious holiday recipe, with real food and all the satisfaction! Recipe Courtesy of Paula Dean and the FoodNetwork.com Ingredients: 1 (10-pound) turkey 2 tablespoons House seasoning, recipe follows 2 tablespoons of your favorite dry rub 3 to 5 gallons peanut oil Cooks Note: To measure the amount of oil needed to fry the turkey, place turkey in fryer, add water to top of turkey, remove the turkey and the water line will indicate how much oil will be needed to fry your turkey. Having too much oil can cause a fire. The pot should not be more than 3/4 full or the oil could overflow when the turkey is added. Directions Wash bird inside and out, and allow to drain. Rub turkey all over with House Seasoning. Coat turkey with dry rub. Allow the bird to sit until it reaches room temperature. Heat peanut oil in a turkey fryer or a very, very large stockpot to 350 degrees F. Lower turkey into hot oil, very carefully, making sure it is fully submerged. Fry turkey for 3 minutes per pound plus 5 minutes per bird. Remove turkey from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve with favorite Thanksgiving sides and salads.
House Seasoning: 1 cup salt 1/4 cup black pepper 1/4 cup garlic powder Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Cook Time: 35 Min
Level: Easy
Yields: 6 to 8 servings
Baked Blogging Banana Bread Ingredients: Time Familiarizing Yourself A Dozen of Fresh Ideas 1 Engaging Title 5 Stems of Patience An Eye for Error
Additional Ingredients for Extra Spice (Optional) A few potential viral videos 1-2 Ripe Related Images Directions: 1. Before you start the assembly portion of your Baked Blogging Banana Bread, begin reading and commenting on blogs within your area of expertise. By reading related blogs you will begin to familiarize yourself with blog styles you like, formats that are used, audience likes/dislikes and engagement tactics. By commenting on other blogs you can offer your own opinions or angles to the entries being posted, while establishing your name in the blogosphere. Once your own blog is set in motion, you can even offer related links to your blog entries as additional information for the readers. This step is very important because as a new blogger you will learn from others more experienced. 2. Now that you have established yourself in the world of blogging you are ready to start working on your own companies blog. The first step is to decide what your main focus will be a stick to it. Next, you will add an engaging title that sums up your main focus in a nutshell. For Example: If you are in the organic gardening industry stick to topics like; organic gardening 101, dangers of pesticides, and USDA regulations. Sticking with a niche topic will target the potential consumers that you want. An individual who swears by genetically modified food will be much less likely to become a consumer in the future. 3. The next step in your Baked Blogging Banana Bread is to formulate a dozen of fresh ideas. Old news is bad news for blogs. This is not to say that you cannot post comments or complete a write-up on something that happened a few days ago, but you can′t post on something that happened four months ago and expect people to value it. It is important to stay current with issues and news happening in your industry if you want to build a steady following. 4.
Two benefits of blogging is that they are less formal and you do not need to be a professional writer to have and maintain a blog. Still, having an eye for error in spelling and grammar should be a priority. Neglecting to spell check and use proper grammar can affect your credibility no matter what your writing experience is or the industry your blog focuses on.
Additional Ingredients for Extra Spice Adding Don’t be afraid to get creative when writing and maintaining your blog. Adding videos is really good way to get people engaged and potentially start a viral effect. One or two ripe related images is another way to increase the readers interest. Images can speak a thousand words, if used appropriately. For best results, avoid using irrelevant stock images that have no value to your message. A photo or image that relates directly to the post’s message will almost always be more effective!
