Mandy Blumenthal As a veteran of studying at Holmesglen, Mandy has a wealth of experience and first hand knowledge of a number of courses. Having completed qualifications in broadcasting, public relations, human resources and marketing, Mandy is excited about spreading the news about Holmesglen to your students. Natasha Marinelli During her two years studying at Holmesglen, Natasha completed a number of qualifications including business, event management, fitness and sport and recreation. Her hard work resulted in her being a finalist in the Outstanding Diploma category at the Holmesglen Awards Festival 2010. Mandy and Natasha will be your first point of contact for all school related activities, and will the ones out and about promoting Holmesglen. Melinda Dziedzic, although moving on from her role as the Prospective Students Officer, has stayed in the Holmesglen Marketing Unit taking over the role of Publications and Web Officer. She will also be managing Mandy and Natasha, so she will still be involved in the process and producing the Get Set and Holmesglen Update publications. However please update your databases to put the generic student recruitment details down as your main contact.

In the middle of May, you should receive in the mail a reference set of our new 2012 publications. Course Directory 2012 Lists all of the courses available through Holmesglen in 2012 in one large fold out document. It is a great quick overview of Holmesglen. Course & Career Guides 2012 Separated into 11 different books, the Course and Career Guides outline course information such as course duration, commencement dates, prerequisites, how to apply, enquiry contact numbers and emails, and course overviews. The Age VCE and Careers Expo

Mid year courses Holmesglen offers a range of courses which start mid year. This is a great opportunity for students who: • Have taken a six month gap period and have decided to return to study rather than wait for another six months • Didn’t receive an offer to commence study at the start of the year • Have decided that the course they started isn’t right for them and would like to change to something different • Have decided to leave high school but would like to continue some kind of education or training. Applications are now opened, with most courses commencing on 12 July 2010. How to enrol to start mid year 1. Visit www.holmesglen.edu.au/midyear and find your preferred course on the list. Follow links for further information. 2. Contact the department directly to apply for a place in your preferred course. You do not need to apply through VTAC for mid year courses. 3. Once you have received an offer from Holmesglen, you may officially enrol in the course. The department will issue you an Enrolment Guide. 4.
