Hoverflies (Diptera: Syrphidae) new to the fauna of the Iberian Peninsula [Schwebfliegen (Diptera: Syrphidae) neu fur die Fauna der Iberischen Halbinsel] by Christian KEHLMAIER Bremen (Deutschland)
Abstract
Brachypalpus laphriformis (FALLEN, 1816), Chalcosyrphus nemorum (FABRICIUS, 1805), Chamaesyrphus caledonicus COLLIN, 1940, Chamaesyrphus scaevoides (FALLEN, 181 7), Microdon analis (MACQUART, 1842), Parasyrphus punctulatus (VERRALL, 1873), Rhingia borealis RINGDAHL, 1928 and Sphiximorpha subsessilis (ILLIGER in Rossr, 1807) are recorded from the Iberian Peninsula for the first time. The specimens were caught with Malaise traps in a beech forest and in a more heterogeneous forest consisting of Quercus robur, Fagus sylvatica and Pinus sylvestris, in the province of Navarra in northern Spain.
