NOTE: QUALIFYING RACES are not competitive and will not be included in the starts of a horse, but are merely used to determine the manners of a horse and its ability to complete the course within the time standards set by the judges for the class in which the horse will compete. Occasionally a horse will race where according to his earnings it appears that he wasn't eligible. However, this horse qualified under a secondary condition (Also Eligible). The past performance line will carry the main condition of the race as it shows the actual class of competition.
