How  to  use  Amazon  ezs3  to  get  your  JigsawBox  embed  code   EzS3  makes  it  easier  for  you  to  upload  files  but  not  only  that  it  gives  you  some  additional  options  like   creating  little  players  who  actually  play  the  video  right  on  your  website  and  in  your  JigsawBox  –  which   looks  really  great  too!  

 

When  you  sign  up  to  www.ezs3.com  you  can  actually  link  together  your  two  accounts.  So  after  you  sign  up   it  will  ask  you  if  you  have  an  Amazon  simple  storage  account.  It  will  ask  you  to  enter  your  unique   identifiers.    To  get  those  unique  identifiers,  you  need  to  go  back  to  you  Amazon  simple  storage  account,   log  into  your  management  console  and  then  click  account  and  security  credentials.  Your  secret  keys  and   identifiers  will  be  listed  in  there.  Once  you  have  pasted  them  in  your  will  get  a  User  ID  and  password  which   you  will  need  to  create  –  so  go  to  the  admin  area:  

  And  log  in  by  inputting  your  User  ID  and  password  and  click  log  in.  

  You  can  also  upload  files  directly  here  to  the  Ezs3  site  and  they  will  be  stored  in  your  Simple  storage  account.    If  you   are  definitely  going  to  be  created  players  for  your  audios  etc.  it  will  link  to  this  one  place  and  you  will  be  all  set.  

      To  upload  files  you  click  Upload  Files  and  it  will  run  some  JavaScript  and  a  pop  up  will  appear.  

  You  will  need  to  verify  it  so  click  run  and  it  will  take  a  few  moments.  

  Another  window  will  then  appear,  if  you  want  to  upload  a  file  click  the  my  documents  button  in  this  window.  

  Click  on  your  folder  and  then  click  on  the  top  arrow  on  the  middle  pane  and  then  you  will  see  it  uploading  at  the   bottom  of  that  window  and  will  tell  you  when  it’s  complete  when  it’s  done.  

  Once  you  have  uploaded  it  and  you  want  to  find  it  again,  make  it  look  great  and  use  a  great  player  on  your  website   or  Jigsawbox,  click  Browse  files.      Then  find  the  folder  where  you  just  uploaded  your  video  to:  

  Click  on  that  folder  and  then  select  the  video  you  want  to  create  the  player  for.  

    When  opened  click  Create  Player.    

  You’ll  then  be  shown  the  different  types  of  players  available  to  you.      We  will  choose  one  for  an  example:  

  Once  you  have  picked  one,  you’ll  need  to  add  a  title  for  your  video  so  you  can  easily  recognise  it  you  will  need  to  fill   in  the  description  part,  the  player  width  and  player  height.  We  use  600  by  480.  Player  controls  and  other  things  you   can  edit  on  your  player.  

  Auto  start  playback  –  is  whether  you  want  your  video  to  play  as  soon  as  someone  comes  to  our  page.   Loop  Video  –  do  you  want  it  to  keep  playing  over  and  over?  

Once  all  completed  click  Create  Player  at  the  very  bottom  of  the  screen  and  it  will  take  you  to  the  player  so  you  can   check  that  you  like  the  look  of  it.    You  can  test  it  and  play  around  with,  even  edit  it,  just  to  get  it  right.  

  You  will  then  need  to  find  your  embed  code,  click  select  code,  copy  it  and  paste  it  to  notepad  or  something  like  that   and  click  paste.  Now  it’s  ready  to  be  pasted  onto  your  website  or  once  your  JigsawBox  module  is  ready.
