How to use “IELTS Speaking Topics” “IELTS Speaking Topics” contains over 125 photocopiable topic based cards, designed for use both inside and outside the traditional classroom. Each section of the book is indexed under a heading which contains a selection of subject based speaking questions.

For Teachers and Trainers Each topic can be used to supplement your IELTS program, and could be used for guided or open speaking practice with your students. You can freely photocopy each topic page, or cut out each individual speaking question. If you are teaching in a traditional classroom, we recommend you photocopy and cut out each question. You may like to can color bar the questions by each subject heading, using colored paper-for example green colored cards for Nature and the Environment and yellow cards for Travel and Tourism. “IELTS Speaking Topics” is available as a complimentary ebook form -contact the author for further details.

For Students The second part of the IELTS speaking test needs plenty of practice, and you should also try to develop your speaking skills outside your class. We do recommend you to form an IELTS speaking group or practice with your colleagues or friends, in your spare time. You can use the topic questions inside “IELTS Speaking Topics,” as a game. Simply photocopy each subject page, and cut out each question, laminating each copy you make, and create a deck of cards. Place the cards on the center of the table, randomly choose a card from the deck, and then practice the question.
