Opening balance should represent the amount of coins held both in District and Sub-Treasuries and shown in the cash balance report of the previous month, and in the case of treasuries where there is a branch of the Bank, also in the memorandum of uncomment coin held by the branch.

A mount received both a District and Sub-Treasuries in transactions with the public or Indian state coins detected in good coin remittances from other Treasuries should be shown in the column and not in column III.
