Introduce yourself, your school and the unit we are studying (French Businesses and Careers with French); Ask them to please answer a few questions for your research: o How long has your company been in business/when were you established? o What is it like to work for ________ company? o Are there any offices/branches of your company in the United States/Illinois? o Does your company offer any internships or scholarships? o What is your best selling product? o Ask them to send any posters, brochures, catalogue, literature (or a sample or model if applicable) of their product for class project on French brand names and; Find out if having French language skills is of any importance to this company when hiring new employees. If so, what kinds of jobs would be conducive for French language skills? What kinds of skills? (Reading, speaking, writing, translating, etc.?) Is there anyone with whom you could speak to find out what skills are valuable to that company?
