Insight.com Checkout Quick Reference The new Insight.com checkout process provides you with greater checkout efficiency. Here’s how: • Checkout requires fewer pages with a more efficient design • Review and data entry at checkout is easier and faster • New tools provide greater efficiency using custom checkout fields • The new Go–to-Cart, Add-to-Cart option lets you personalize your experience Here are some of the key features that will help you realize these benefits:

Go-to-Cart, Add-to-Cart Popup Feature

Previously, you went to the cart each time you added a part and then had to click continue shopping to return to the search results page. The new Go-to-Cart, Add-to-Cart Popup Option enables you to choose the popup feature to avoid going to the cart until ready for checkout. This semi-popup displays valuable summary information such as: • Confirmation of item added to cart • Item count summary • Cart Subtotal • Simply click the “x” or click anywhere on the search page to close the window You can enable the popup through your Personal Profile, by selecting Account Tools and then Profile Information or enable the permission (per Web Group) through eAdmin.

Easy-to-Find Order Utilities on Every Page

Previously, links and buttons scattered throughout the checkout process helped you perform cart management activities such as saving your cart as a quote or emailing the cart to a colleague. The new Utilities dropdown consistently displays in the same area on each checkout page enabling you to perform different functions based upon which step you are in within the checkout. Sample Order Utilities include: • Manage Cart • Save as Quote • Email Colleague • View Printable Page

Shipping and Billing Page Combined

Previously requiring three to four pages of navigation to complete, the new combined Shipping and Billing page is sleek and easy to use. The page is re-structured so that fields are grouped together more logically. Review and editing of checkout information is much easier as you review, edit and enter all common information at once. Although the page is redesigned, your data or settings (permissions) were not changed or modified for the project. Additional Order Information: Previously, Header Level Custom Checkout was dispersed among two pages. Now the information is consolidated and displayed in an easy-to-use format. Software License Contact Admin by Web Group: If a Software License Admin is specified for the Web Group and the order contains non-shippable items, the contact name is displayed. Contact names are managed through the Admin portion of the website or by your Insight sales representative. Shipping and/or Billing Address Search: The new address searching feature enables users to quickly find the address needed without filtering through a drop-down list of available addresses. The address popup initially displays 10 addresses alphabetized by city, but provides you with the ability to search for an address using any one or combination of the following: • Company Name • State • Street Address • Zip • City Search on one or any combination of fields to quickly find the address you need. Logically organized information, makes the new Ship, Bill, Pay page easy to edit, review and enter checkout information.

Line Level Custom Checkout Page Revamped

We’ve redesigned the Line Level Custom Checkout functionality for greater efficiency. The checkout process is no longer halted if line level custom checkouts are required. We simply take users to the newly designed Line Level page. New features include: • A copy feature allowing the copying of line level data to all line items in the cart. This is a great time saver if you have many items in the cart and need to enter redundant data. • A “clear” feature to delete individual line item data. • IPS Diversity / Reporting “copy fields” support by contract. Other enhanced features include: Quick Shop Duplicate part number support: Located in the cart, Quick Shop allows you to enter Manufacturer Part numbers and simultaneously add the part to the cart. This eliminates the need to perform a search and saves checkout time. In some cases our manufacturers create multiple parts for a single part number and we display a search result error. The enhanced Quick Shop now supports duplicate parts with a single part number and displays the parts in the cart. This enables you to easily select the correct item without leaving the cart and maneuvering through search results. Breadcrumb Streamlining: The breadcrumb trail will let you move backward in the checkout process without loss of data. It also clearly shows you where you are in the checkout process. Manage Carts: Not only can you save your current cart, but the improved usability looks more professional and allows you to manage carts with greater flexibility.
