HKG-IV Type Control Cabinet Function Introduction I.Full-automatic type: (all the following functions are automatic) Water temperature display: both water temperature display of large tank and that of collector and pipeline range between 0 and 99 and the display accuracy is 1 . Water level display: water level display of large tank ranges between grade 0 and grade 4. Water tank display: running conditions of two water tanks are displayed on separate screens. Collector display: running conditions of two groups of collector are displayed on separate screens. Temperature-controlled water inlet: in case tank temperature is 5 higher than the set temperature and water level is lower than grade 4, solenoid valve will be started. Timed water inlet: under timed water inlet state, if the set time is reached, solenoid valve will be started. Constant-level water inlet: in case tank water level is lower than water inlet level, solenoid valve will be started. Dry burning-resistant function: in case electric heating conditions are met but water level is Lower than grade 1, solenoid valve will be started. Timed electric heating: under timed electric heating state, if the set time is reached, solenoid valve will be started. Intelligent electric heating: Intelligent turns on after the key is pressed and then intelligent electric heating function will be started. Anti-freezing electric heating: in case tank temperature is lower than the set temperature and water level is higher than grade 1, electric heating will be started. Circulation of temperature difference: inspect difference in temperatures of collector and water tank. In case the temperature difference is greater than the set value, circulation pump will be started. Anti-pipe-explosion circulation: in case collector temperature is higher than 95 , circulation Pump will run in accordance with the set time period. Timed circulation at constant temperature: within the set time, if pipeline temperature is 5 lower than the set temperature, circulation pump will be started; if the set temperature is reached, circulation pump will be shut down. Timed pipeline circulation: under timed water use state, if tank water level is higher than grade 1, the circulation will be enabled and circulation pump will be shut down after 10 minutes. Anti-freezing circulation: inspect the pipeline temperature and conduct circulation to prevent pipeline being frost-damaged. Separate anti-freezing control function: in case the temperature of anti-freezing sensor is lower than the starting temperature, anti-freezing circulation pump (ribbon heater) will be started to prevent header being frost-damaged. Timed water use: under timed water use state, if the set time is reached, water pump will be Started. Earth leakage protection: leakage circuit breaker is set in power supply line. In case the phase line has the operable leakage current to ground, power supply will be cut off automatically. Power-off anti-pipe-explosion function: in case of energizing after power off, to prevent pipe explosion of collector, when collector temperature is greater than or equal to 90 and temperature difference between collector and water tank is greater than or equal to 30 , all circulation functions of heat collecting temperature difference will be disabled.

HKG-IV Type Control Cabinet III. Back-up control type When the system is in debugging stage, functions in this part can be used for assisting the debugging. Or in case automatic control system has a failure, functions in this part can be temporarily enabled so as to ensure normal output of hot water. If transfer switch inside the cabinet is in auto mode, corresponding buttons will be shielded. To enable functions in this part, it is necessary to turn transfer switch to be manual mode (the display panel has no display at this time). As required, operators must have taken usage training and specific person must be on duty. Temperature difference circulation button 1: rotate this button to manual mode to start temperature different circulation pump 1. Temperature difference 2/ discharge button: rotate this button to manual mode to start temperature different circulation pump 2 or discharge solenoid valve. System inlet button: rotate this button to manual mode to start water inlet solenoid valve 1. Pipeline circulation button: rotate this button to manual mode to start pipeline circulation pump. Anti-freezing circulation button: rotate this button to manual mode to start anti-freezing circulation pump or ribbon heater. Water use / water inlet button 2: rotate this button to manual mode to start water use pump or water inlet solenoid valve 2. Auxiliary heating button 1: rotate this button to manual mode to enable electric heating 1. Auxiliary heating button 2: rotate this button to manual mode to enable electric heating 2.
IV. Leakage test Leakage circuit breaker is the main switch of control cabinet. Before use of this control cabinet, first open the control cabinet, switch on leakage circuit breaker and press test button T of the leakage circuit breaker, and then the leakage circuit breaker should automatically trip, which proves the leakage circuit breaker is normal. If the leakage circuit breaker fails to automatically trip, it is necessary to repair or replace it. (Such operations must be conducted by professional installation or maintenance personnel!)

Open control cabinet, switch on leakage circuit breaker and all small high-breaking capacity breakers. Rotate the internal Transfer Switch to Auto mode to automatically control partial energization works.
It defaults to using the key Shift Up under setting state while the key Shift Down is used under non-device state. When various devices are in flickering duration, corresponding operations can be carried out only after corresponding keys are pressed to send commands, otherwise they will keep flickering.

Parameter sequence number
After access to parameter sequence number setting state of a master control panel, Parameter Sequence Number is normally on, and 88 on it displays sequence number of the parameter in a flickering manner. During flickering of 88 (defaulting to the minimum sequence number of corresponding level), Shift Up is used for directly inputting parameter sequence number, or left/right arrow keys are used for adjusting parameter sequence number. After OK is pressed, parameter setting state of this panel will be accessed and 88 will display the input sequence number of the parameter (or Cancel can be pressed for returning to the previous level). After access to parameter setting state, 88:88 on the lower left area displays the original contents of parameter in a flickering manner. You can directly input target value of the parameter or use left/right arrow keys to adjust such values, and press OK to memorize parameter value, restore the normal display and return to the previous level.
Auditory tone cue: auditory tone cue sounding like toot can be heard when a key is pressed every time (the sound is similar to prompt tone of calculator). Details of all parameter sequence numbers and all parameters are shown in the parameters list on page 19 of this Specifications. Management-level Set Parameters in the parameters list shall be set by professional installation personnel or personnel specified by our company so as to ensure their correctness. II. D. Timed water inlet: starting/stopping time/ stopping water level of five timed water inlets (T00/T01/H71, T02/T03/H72, T04/T05/H73, T06/T07/H74 and T08/T09/H75): time can range from 00:00 to 23:59, and water level can range form 1 to 4. Press the timed water inlet key, it will be in timed water inlet state, and timed water inlet is lit, CDF1 will be started for water inlet if the water level of water tank L1 (L2) is less than H71 when it comes to the time of timed water inlet T00, and DCF1 will be shut down 30 seconds after the water level of water tank Lk1 (L2) is greater or equal to H71; or immediately DCF1 will be shut down when it comes to T01, and the other 4 water inlets shall be operated in the same way. Constant-level water inlet: when the water level of water tank L1 (L2) is lower than the water level of constant-water-level water inlet H76, immediately DCF1 will be started for water inlet, when the water level of water tank L1 (L2) is greater or equal to the set stopping water level of water tank H77 , shut down DCF1 30 seconds later. Overheating protection: when the temperature of heat collector T3 or L2 (L2 is the temperature of heat collector 3 under Mode 3) is greater than 95 , it's not allowed to turn on DCF1, and water inlet is not supported by the system.

Manual electric heating: is lit after the electric heating 1 key is pressed, DJR1 will be started for heating if the water level of water tank 1 L1 is greater than or equal to 1, and the temperature of water tank 1 T1 is less than the set temperature W85 -5, and DJR1 will be shut down to stop heating when the temperature of water tank 1 T1 is greater than or equal to the set temperature W85 . Timed electric heating: (starting/stopping time of 5 timed electric heating are respectively T10/T11, T12/T13, T14/T15, T16/T17 and T18/T19). After the timed electric heating 1 key is pressed, it is in timed electric heating state, timed and are lit. DJR1 will be started for heating if the water level of water tank 1 L1 is greater than or equal to 1 and the temperature of water tank 1 T1 is less than the set temperature W85 -5 when it comes to T10. DJR1 will be shut down to stop heating when the temperature of water tank 1 T1 is greater than or equal to the set temperature W85 ; or immediately DJR1 will be shut down when it comes to T11, and the other four timed electric heating are operated in the same way. Intelligent heating: after the Intelligent key is pressed, Intelligent is lit, thus electric heating function is started. When it comes to the clock-controlled set intelligent heating time T54, DJR1 will be started when the temperature of water tank is less than 25 within 2 hours (If the water level is lower than level 1, turn on water inlet first until the water level is higher than level 1, then turn on electric heating), DJR1 will be shut down when it reaches 30 ; DJR1 will be started when the temperature of water tank is lower than 35 within 2 to 4 hours, and DJR1 will be shut down when it reaches 40 ; from the forth to the sixth hour, DJR1 will be started when the temperature of water tank is lower than the set temperature W85 , and DJR1 will be shut down when it reaches the set temperature W85 , this function of the current day is removed, but the Intelligent is still lit. When it is pressed again, the Intelligent indication is off, thus intelligent electric heating function is turned off.

When there is no water, start dry burningresistant water inlet, thus ensuring certain temperature to resist freezing. Dry burning-resistant function: when the temperature condition of electric heating is met and the water level of water tank L1 is lower than level 1, DCF1 will be started automatically, and stop water inlet 30 seconds after the water level is greater than or equal to level 1, and then reDJR1 will be started. (When the water level L1 is greater or equal to 1 in Mode 5, reDJR1 will be started after 30 seconds.) 5. Reset function Setting of toggle switch: the fourth position of toggle switch SW1 on the main control panel is the switch for reset setting, when the duration that it stays in ON state is more than 5 seconds, dial it to non-ON state, the buzzer will make a sound, thus the system resets, and it rovers to the factory default. The factory defaults at other positions of the toggle switch have already been set, and laypeople are not allowed to touch it .

After the wires of all sensors are threaded through slots, they shall be connected to the corresponding position on the terminals successively according to connection instructions. Attentions The control cabinet shall be installed in dry and waterproof room. The inner container of the control cabinet and water tank of water heating project must be connected to earth reliably, thus it can be put into application. The stainless binding post on control cabinet and water tank shall be connected to ground reliably. It shall be avoided to lead the sensor signal line and the load power line together within one pipeline to room, so as to prevent disorder operation of control cabinet resulted from electromagnetic interference. Lightning protection device must be provided in large water-heating project, and the height of lightning rod shall be H=2+R/1.5 (unit: m), and the water-heating project must be located within the effective protection area of lightning rod, as shown in the following figure.
