One Stop Shoping Factory With Save, Effective and Reliable Product

The Production Problem For serve hospital beds demand of global market with tight delivery schedules, on the production line is often found the uncertain availability of inventory and work in process (WIP) and also to achieve production target has been used excessive resource with the worst case is company failure to deliver product to customer on time. It is also mean the company losing its competitiveness.

Objective 1. Building an inventory, work-in process (WIP) and finish inventory buffer control model using the new method D minus 1 (day minus 1) for integrated production management at multiproduct hospital beds manufacturing plant 2. Develop a production planning and monitoring of an integrated, systematic and valid production schedule for production use 3. Executing integrated production on production line.

CONCLUSION 1. Production Strategy for fullfill market demand is used Model D minus 1 use systematic production planning and scheduling (PPS). PPS program base on Heaviside function which is created in Matlab environtment programing. This PPS system can be used for simulation or to setup PPS activity in shop floor. 2. The PPS is standalone program not integrated in the SAP system yet. The future research is conduct to integrate this PPS system in the SAP to implement production best practice from shop floor level to enterprise level.
