Developing change through games for a better tomorrow Positive gaming for Positive change + J Horsfield 2017

This publication is the result of a research project into games that inform, educate and inspire engagement in citizenship and social change at a local level. This began as a personal quest from my own experience of learning skills and transferrable citizenship while growing up in the programming era. With the current changes in the material of media especially gaming which is an essential social and cultural norm for the next generation, I wanted to create this to highlight the inspiring work being done globally and support those who believe that media can inform not harm. The games are grouped by section which we begin with civic and environmental, health and fitness, social and cultural and then move onto publications dealing with gaming research and then finally a selection of indie games though not directly linked with social change projects highlight games that promote fun for all ages. Requirements for return learn are that games are free and publications are offered on a donation basis if you wish to support the projects. Have fun reading and keep playing..
