Intern (Hong Kong office) The Hong Kong office of CSR Asia is looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual for an internship position assisting CSR Asia in on-going projects. CSR Asia is the leading provider of information, training, research and consultancy services on sustainable business practices in Asia. Operating as a dynamic social enterprise, CSR Asia occupies the unique middle ground between civil society organisations and fully commercial consultancies. Through our offices in Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore and Europe, CSR Asia builds capacity and promotes awareness of CSR in order to advance sustainable development across the region. This internship will provide you with insight into what it’s like to work in a social enterprise committed to furthering sustainable development in the region. It will equip you with important project management, research and communication skills and CSR knowledge. Your role This internship position is focused on providing support to project managers and directors on current environmental and social projects. You will also be contributing content (research and case studies) to the Community Investment Round table website. There will be opportunities to help out in other areas too such as writing articles for our newsletter. Your skills - You should be organised, a self-starter, and capable of managing different aspects of a project. - Some project management/research skills - Attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) - Knowledge of and interest in CSR (environmental, human rights, community investment issues etc.) is an advantage - Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel The internship commitment is for a minimum of two months with starting date as soon as possible. The intern applicant should have a permit to work in Hong Kong. Payment arrangements will be made according to the internship notes in the Hong Kong Minimum Wage Ordinance.
