Use Mozilla Firefox (Not Internet Explorer) to browse the Internet Click on the Start button, find and click the orange Firefox icon If the icon is not there: o Click on the Start button, select My Computer, and open Local Disk (C:) – see example below:
o Open the Mozilla Firefox folder, find the Mozilla program. It looks like this: o Select the program icon, and drag to the Start button. Do NOT drag to the desktop because the program will not work off the desktop. o Click the Start button, and open Firefox. o Type the class website address: http://wehs.gonzalez.tripod.com

Click on the Start button. Look for the MicroType Pro program icon. It looks like this: If the icon is not there: o Click on the Start button, select My Computer, and open MTPRO folder o Select the MicroType Pro program icon, and drag to the Start button. Click on the Start button, and run MicroType Pro. On the Welcome screen, click on Guest (see example below):
In the Name box, type the class period and your full name. Example: 1A – Enrique Gonzalez Once you log-on, click on the appropriate color block to start the lesson (Green, Red, Purple, or Blue) Click on the appropriate lesson, and complete the tabs of the lesson requested. Once you begin a lesson, do NOT close the program. You can minimize the program, and continue the lesson later. But, once you close the lesson, you will need to start over from the beginning of the lesson. There is a game at the end of each lesson. You can skip the game by clicking on the next arrow (see example below):

There are two printers in the lab: HP LaserJet 2100 (01-13), and HP LaserJet 2100 (14-26). HP LaserJet (01-13) is on the left-side of the room, and is used if you are sitting at Computers 01 – 13. HP LaserJet (14-26) is on the right-side of the room, and is used if you are sitting at Computers 14 – 26.
