Iowa Irish Inc. Irish Dance Costume Rental Agreement Terms • Rental periods are for the Calendar year. They will be handed out before the 1st performance of the year and be due after the final performance of the year. • Terms are $40 non-refundable rental fee for each rental period. Further rentals of the different size costume by the same dancer during the same rental period shall be at no charge. • Reasonable wear to costumes is to be expected; BUT, “damage” is considered to have been done when there is tearing, burning, cutting, removal of fasteners, or any other trim or decoration. • Please do not remove any sizing tags or make any alterations to the costume without prior approval from Rental Program Coordinator. • Laundering Instructions: Dry-clean or machine wash inside out, cold, gentle cycle; hang to dry. • Costumes are intended primarily for competition and shows. They should not be worn to non-dance events. • No make-up should be worn while wearing the costumes to avoid staining. A shirt must be worn under costume to minimize perspiration stains. • No food or drinks other than water or dry clean snacks is to be consumed while wearing the costume. • No double-sided or duct tape is to be used on the costumes. • Costumes are not exact but are an estimated size, but they should never become ill-fitting. If your child seems to be outgrowing their rented costume, please contact Rental Program Coordinator immediately. • Articles that are lost or to which there is damage (as defined above) while in your possession will be charged for a replacement ($50.00) and/or cleaning cost ($25.00). • A late fee of $5 per day will be charged for costumes not returned by the set due date. After 7 days, the renter will be charged for a replacement ($50.00). • The costume rental fee $40.00, cannot be applied toward late return fees or the purchase price of the cost. • The Foy School of Irish Dance and Iowa Irish Inc. are not responsible for any injury resulting from the use of this costume. This contract, when signed by you, shall constitute agreement to all the above listed terms.
