Tap and hold to occasionally access other options (think of this as "right-clicking"). • Drag to scroll up and down, left or right, or any other direction . • Swipe left or right to flip through photos, pages in an e-book, pages on the Home screen, and more. • Swipe left or right with 4 or 5 fingers to switch between open apps. (Multitasking Gesture ON) • Double tap to zoom in or out on photos, webpages, and certain apps. • Home is “esc” Settings, Tips & Tricks: 1. Organizing Apps: Touch & Hold - Organize screens; Make Folders -> move & name; Add to the dock 2. Managing Notifications: These are the items and actions the ipad alerts you to- (emails, reminders)- by default these are located in the top of your screen as a pull down in the Notification Center. + Manage the red dots on an App , called Badges, Go to Settings > Notifications to turn On or Off > 3. Multitasking Gestures: Settings >Turn ON a. Swipe left or right with 4 or 5 fingers to switch between open apps. b. Pinch to zoom in or out almost anywhere. c. Pinch 4 or 5 fingers together to jump to the Home screen. d. Swipe up with 4 or 5 fingers to pull up the multitasking bar. 4. Lock view: Settings > Use side switch to > Lock Rotation 5. Add Emoji keyboard - Settings >Add new > International 9. Stop Running Apps- save memory: Double click home button. Pull up multitasking bar. Hold on app until red minus appears. See Apps use order. Safari AutoFill: Fill in your Contact info first with your name and personal information. Now go to Settings > Safari > AutoFill. Safari Tips - Bookmarks Bar: To enable it, go to Settings > Safari > Always Show Bookmarks Bar. Then go to a Web site and tap the arrow at the top to add a bookmark. Edit the bookmark title and make sure it's sorted under "Bookmarks Bar." Hit "Save" and repeat for any other sites you want to add. 1. Add links to your home screen 2.
