COMPANY: IN CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL BY THE CITY OF NAPLES, OF THIS APPLICATION, THE APPLICANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: • The irrigation water meter shall be furnished, maintained and owned by the City of Naples and shall be placed at the

property line or the edge of the sidewalk on the customer's side. • The meter, service valve (curb stop), and meter box shall remain accessible to utilities personnel for inspection, • • • • •

testing, and maintenance. Landscape shrubs and ground cover shall remain at least 18 inches from the edges of meter or meter box. Trees shall not be planted within 4 feet of the meter. The reclaimed water shall be used only for landscape irrigation purposes. Current irrigation water charges shall be based on the current utility rate scheduled as amended from time to time. City connection fees shall not apply for irrigation service with 1 inch meters. The property owner is responsible for connecting their irrigation system to the irrigation meter. The property owner's irrigation system must be disconnected from the potable water system before the irrigation system can be connected to the irrigation meter. Cross connection between the irrigation water system and the potable water system is prohibited. And an appropriate backflow preventer is required on the potable water meter before the irrigation can be activated. The backflow preventer shall be owned and maintained by the property owner. The City must inspect the irrigation system connection before service begins. The contractor/ applicant must call 239-213-5051 to request a final inspection. The irrigation meter can only be turned on by the City inspector. Special conditions as applicable:
