The Role: The VICE UK Sales team sell content, digital, press and events solutions into media, creative & PR agencies across the media industry. This role within the team will entail assuming Sales Executive responsibility for key agencies and client relationships in the UK. The role will require a dedicated focus on selling our vast range of digital & print advertising solutions across VICE properties and our AdVICE digital publisher network. You will manage existing and new sales relationships, to drive new business and increase media revenues & profits at every opportunity. You will be joining a fast paced and innovative team and will be charged with making a significant contribution to ambitious company revenue targets. Responsibilities: •
Maintaining and developing UK agency and client direct relationships in key youth sectors whilst developing media briefs and new business.

Delivering significant digital and print media-‐focused sales results based on UK targets. Creating tailored ideas and structured media plans that answer your clients requested proposals Working with senior colleagues when necessary to identify, understand and answer client issues and needs. You will have individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self-‐manage; however, you will be part of a growing team and support is available from directors. Taking personal responsibility for all pitches and sales opportunities for your clients. Account development through identifying new opportunities within existing clients, persuading clients to use our services and delivering excellent results at all times. To be actively engaged in cross-‐promoting group-‐wide services. Taking responsibility to ensure your clients are satisfied after each project. Account management of jobs in their entirety including o Creation of purchase orders o Responsibility for billings/accounts in a timely fashion o Keeping Insider, our CRM system, updated immediately after client meetings o Managing live projects in their entirety Represent VICE at pitches with other colleagues and represent VICE at events.

Strong Media Planner / Buyer contacts at key UK agencies. A knowledgeable understanding of how a media agency works and operates. Flexibility and willingness to proactively add ideas and innovation to the VICE business. Ability to handle heavy workload, mediating demands and requests with a strong problem solving drive. Organizational agility and strong attention to detail. A strong team-‐player ethic with willingness to support and help others Self-‐motivation and energy in taking ownership of client projects. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence in presenting ideas with impact. Experience of all key MS Office packages, and presentation packages such as Keynote. The ability to perform under stress, within tight deadlines. A co-‐operative and proactive approach to reporting on sales success and inputting in team sales meetings
