Role Description The Havant site undertakes secondary packaging and distribution for the key Pfizer products. The role will be working within an engineering team to support these activities with primary focus on the improvement and sustaining of packaging throughput. The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading, implementing and gaining stakeholder engagement for the site Reliability Program. This program will provide the maintenance related uptime and operating efficiencies of all the site's engineering assets. These activities help minimize costs and contribute to the profitability and performance of the business. The role will also act as a senior support SME providing technical support to the site maintenance and project teams. Responsibilities - Implement site based reliability activities to comply with Pfizer policies, guidelines and procedures. - Leads development of maintenance strategies for all equipment. Collects and reports historical data needed to perform the RFM process and construct maintenance strategies. Coordinates execution of RFM (Reliability Focus Maintenance) process with all site teams. - Monitors the status of the reliability program. Provide key metrics to demonstrate equipment performance. Implements maintenance program improvements for the assets on site, in
conjunction with relevant teams. - To provide maintenance input to Engineering Design to create designs which minimize lifecycle costs. - Make maintenance budget recommendations. - Provide technical support to maintenance personnel directed to the solution of plant machinery or equipment problems and recommend corrective actions. - Lead focus improvement projects to identify and implement engineering solutions. Qualifications Required Qualifications / Experience: - Degree qualified, in one of the following engineering disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation / Controls, Mechatronics. - Experience working within an engineering function supporting a Manufacturing / Packaging Environment. - Strong experience in a similar role, working within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Desirable Qualifications / Experience: - Lean DMAIC – Green Belt certified or equivilant - Certified Reliability Engineer status - Experience working within a regulated environment, preferable pharmaceutical industry.
