At the heart of everything we do is a passion for classical music and the performing arts, and a desire to bring high quality performances to every corner of the world. askonasholt.co.uk THE POSITION We seek a Business Systems Manager, three to four days a week, to take over the running of our Information Technology facilities, and to manage one member of staff. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and communicating at every level throughout the company, the successful candidate will show a proven ability to be hands-on in network and systems administration, preparing budgets, negotiating contracts and guiding future development. You will be asked to prepare and present board reports and suggest improvements to shape and direct the IT strategy over the coming years. Your IT recommendations will align with the business strategy and working with key stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for business efficiency and improvement. The role will ideally suit someone with a track record of working in SME’s who is comfortable in a creative and dynamic environment, able to solve problems great or small in an approachable manner. You will have the following responsibilities: • • • • • •

To manage, and regularly review our existing IT projects and systems To manage the Desktop Support Engineer To continue to modernise our technology, in accordance with the needs of the business To oversee our risk management processes and to oversee our software licenses To work with colleagues across the company to explore and evaluate strategic opportunities for IT to further contribute to the success of the business To maintain and develop our Disaster Recovery programme

The following knowledge/experience would be preferable: • •

HP Servers running Windows Server (2008/2012) Dell/HP desktops and laptops running Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 and the Office suite

Networking and Cabling (Cisco Meraki switches and Access Points) HyperV and Virtualisation Demonstrable experience of project scoping, management and delivery Barracuda VPN, Antivirus Software (AVG CloudCare), Backup software (Backup Exec) Telephony over SIPS (Avaya) and mobile solutions (iPhone/iPad) Liaising with third party cloud application providers Understanding of framework for crisis / DR situations

Please note the nature of this role may require out of hours and weekend work to be undertaken. The successful candidate will: • • • •
