Mission Statement Uplift's mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace and that inspire in students a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service in order to positively change their world SUMMARY The Senior Advisor to the CEO directly supports the CEO on projects of strategic importance to the CEO that do not sit within a specific function and provides overall support that maximizes the effectiveness and productivity of the CEO. The Senior Advisors support extends to strategic communication from the office of the CEO, targeted analytic support, meeting preparation and follow-up, and strategic management of the CEO’s time. When needed, the Senior Advisor may step in for the CEO in internal and external meetings. The Senior Advisor represents the Office of the CEO in a way that is aligned to the personal leadership style of the CEO and as a passionate advocate of Uplift in order to create a consistent experience for internal and external stakeholders. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES



Support the CEO in the execution of discrete strategic projects that are aligned to network priorities, involve a direct interest of the CEO, but do not sit within a single function



Write strategic communications and presentations from the office of the CEO



Support preparation of Uplift board meeting materials



Support preparation for Executive Team and Network Planning team meetings and follow up on items post meeting as needed



Conduct targeted analysis at the request of the CEO outside of work naturally done by Uplift data team



Strategically analyze the CEO’s calendar and determine the appropriate use of meeting time, including creating targeted and purposeful opportunities for CEO to spend time in planning meetings and on-campuses



Serve as a proxy for the CEO in internal and external meetings as needed
