PURPOSES OF THE JOB. Overall Supplier Quality control activities. Incoming Inspection of the parts. Supplier quality improvement programs, Supplier visits. NCR handling. Quality Monitoring through CPK /PPK and PPM levels for supplier Quality performance. o Timely information to the Suppliers / Procurement Dept to take corrective actions in the Process.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES. Preparation & updating the Incoming Inspection plans. Coordinating the incoming inspection activity. Updating GRN status in system. Raising NCR in case of non conformance observed in the receipt or in line. Follow up for NCR closer with supplier. Weekly communication of rejections to supplier. Monthly Supplier PPM calculation & communication to supplier. Weekly supplier quality related reporting. Day today Quality problem troubleshooting with suppliers processes at their end. Coordinating the Quality raised of Indian Suppliers supplying to HUSCO global with respective supplier quality engineer. Responsible for Supplier- organization relationship management.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE – - Strong Knowledge and skills of Precision part measurements using CMM, Profile Projectors, surface finish testers. etc - Engineering background with clear basic knowledge - Skills sets like SPC, PPAP, ISO 9001, MSA, TS 16949, Quality tools etc. - Good analytical ability. - Good communication - Very good Understanding of Manufacturing processes like Foundry processes, machining process in details. Defects and Remedies in processes. - Knowledge of Supplier Quality and Process improvements, Regularly Visiting suppliers and Problem solving at supplier end. - Open minded, mainly open to adjust to changing work environment - Additional Knowledge of quality management systems, Quality tools, six sigma etc. - Quality control techniques
