American Girl Experience Learn about American history and what it was like to be a young girl throughout the 20th century through the eyes of American Girl’s loveable character dolls. West Music Presents: Middle School Orchestra Camp This program is open to any students entering 6th-8th grade with at least one school year experience on the violin, viola, cello, bass or harp. Kids will work with our professional staff, be inspired to keep playing during summer months and will build more musical and academic success! General Information How to Register: See the registration page at the back of this brochure. If registering by mail, please use one form per student (forms may be copied). Release/Waiver of Liability Form: Two weeks prior to the start date of the camp(s) you are registered for, you’ll receive an information packet containing a confirmation letter, materials for the class and a release/waiver of liability. Parents or guardians should complete and return all forms as instructed.
Supervision Policy: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian except when under the direct supervision of camp instructors or staff. Children may not be left unattended before, during the lunch period or after camp. Students should be brought to their camp no earlier than 10 minutes before start time and picked up no later than 10 minutes after end time. Age Policy: All camps are for youth ages 8-15, unless specified in the descriptions. No younger students will be admitted. Locations: Locations vary by camp. See individual descriptions. Transportation: Students and their parents or guardians are responsible for all transportation arrangements. Please pick up and deliver your student at assigned locations.

Refund Policy: Cancellations made by Kirkwood Continuing Education are fully refunded. Cancellations made by the customer one business day before the start of a camp will be refunded. KICK TUITION ASSISTANCE Every young life deserves to be enriched by the Kirkwood Interactive Camps for Kids experience. Using eligibility for the federal free school lunch program as qualification, Kirkwood Community College tuition assistance is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for participation in the 2017 KICK summer program. To apply for tuition assistance, please visit www.kirkwood.edu/kick, call 319-398-5529 for a KICK tuition assistance form, or fill out the form below.
Kirkwood Summer Camp Tuition Assistance Application Please complete the form and return it to Kirkwood Continuing Education. Tuition assistance will be based on the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines. Free and Reduced Lunch automatically qualifies your camper for tuition assistance.
