CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP makes a great fallback for the cold winter days because of all its wonderful nutrients and it’s a known fact to help ease flu and cold symptoms. So go ahead and ENJOY THIS QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP RECIPE!

INGREDIENTS • • • • • • • • • • •

1 TBSP butter ½ CUP chopped onion ½ CUP chopped celery 4 –14.5 OZ. CANS chicken broth 1 –14.5 OZ. CANS vegetable broth ½ LB. cooked chicken breast, chopped 1½ CUPS egg noodles 1 CUP carrots, sliced ½ TSP dried basil ½ TSP dried oregano TO TASTE – salt & pepper

DIRECTIONS 1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. 2. Cook onion &celery in butter until just tender (~5 minutes). 3. Pour in chicken & vegetable broths. 4. Stir in chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt & pepper. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat & simmer 20 minutes before serving.
