LANGUAGE CENTRE: GERMAN COURSES FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND RECOGNISED REFUGEES The Language Centre offers two 6-hour and a 4- hour German as a second language courses. The courses are for participants who are used to learning and have a very steep learning curve. To register for a course interested parties must enrol at the University of Salzburg as an external student. Courses are free of charge for asylum seekers and recognised refugees. Our courses have a maximum of 25 places. Please understand that we cannot guarantee a place in a course. If the course you are interested in is fully booked you have the option to be waitlisted and you will be informed if a place should become available for you. A minimum of 80% attendance is required and all course participants who successfully complete the course will receive a course confirmation according to the level reached.
