LACCODEF is implementing the ICT for Community Empowerment in Education Project in Four primary Schools in Dokolo and Lira District. These schools are; Aderolongo P/S Apewoneki P/S Ateri Primary P/S and Agwata P/S



LACCODEF supplied each of these schools with a computer and a modem and trained eight teachers from each school on basic computer applications and use of internet.





Previous studies have showed that preparing scheme of work manually consumes a lot of teachers time because each year the scheme has to be updated to cover new elements of the subject/topic matter which neccesitates rewriting the whole scheme yet it could be simply edited. Typing schemes of work would also give teachers the opportunity to enrich their content with resources off the internet.



Train teachers in computer skills(applications) so that; They use the skills to scheme and plan their lessons so that; Their time is managed more efficiently;
