Students who go home/out for lunch: During our second nutrition break (1:10-1:50) students are permitted, provided classroom teachers receive written permission from parents, to go home/out for lunch. Students will not be permitted to call home to seek permission to go out for lunch. PHONES: Our phones can get very busy, especially near the end of the day. Please make all plans with your child before school starts for the day. We cannot have students calling home routinely to make plans for after school or be forwarding messages to students from parents about changes and etc. Also, please make sure that we have up-to-date contact information for you. It can get very frustrating when a child is sick or hurt and we cannot reach a parent because none of the phone numbers that we have work. SCHOOL COUNCIL: The Lansdowne School Council is made up of parents, staff representatives, community members and the principal. Input from the various council members shapes school policies and priorities. Please contact the office for information on how you can get involved with School Council.
