Expert Facilitator: Pamela McAllister Innovation Consultant McAllister & Associates Pamela McAllister’s work in promoting sustainable development convinced her of the critical importance of leadership in assisting industries and communities to adapt to rapid change. After delivering the iconic Building Rural Leaders program for the Queensland Government, she now lectures in leadership at University of Queensland, and has her own business delivering longterm leadership development programs in Queensland regions. She has written case studies in Innovation in Government and worked with Queensland Government’s Business Improvement in Government initiative. She is coordinator of the Sustainable Improvement and Innovation Network, joining ‘improvement’ practitioners from Australia, UK, South Africa, Philippines and New Zealand, to support each other in their SI&I practice. She feels kindly towards people who like coconut water, red meat and who put clothes on their pets.
