She
debuted
a
new
body
of
sculptural
and
performance
work
in
October
2013
at
the
Pavel
Zoubok
Gallery
in
New
York
City.
Recently,
the
Huffington
Post
noted
her,
"One
of
30
contemporary
art
makers
under
40
that
you
should
know
about."
Her
work
is
presently
touring
the
nation
in
the
Driskell
Center's
African
American
Art
1950‐
present
exhibition,
and
a
solo
exhibition
of
new
sculptures
is
currently
showing
at
Concept
Art
Gallery
in
Regent
Square,
where
she
will
be
performing
on
January
30.
The
Pittsburgh
Gospel
Choir
has
been
led
since
its
founding
by
Dr.
Herbert
V.R.P.
Jones.
A
Southern
transplant
to
Pennsylvania,
Dr.
Jones
has
cultivated
a
broad‐ based,
multifaceted
career
as
a
choral
conductor,
educator,
operatic
and
oratorio
bass,
liturgical
dancer,
orator
and
pastor,
teaching
and
performing
across
the
United
States
and
Europe.
Dr.
Jones
holds
numerous
degrees,
culminating
in
a
D.M.A.
in
Choral
Conducting
from
the
University
of
Mississippi,
and
he
is
considered
a
leading
authority
on
the
music
of
Moses
George
Hogan.
Jones
sits
on
numerous
boards,
including
the
Afro‐ American
Music
Institute
(AAMI)
(Pittsburgh,
PA)
and
‘All
Nations
Dance’
(Pittsburgh,
PA),
and
he
is
faculty
at
the
CCAC,
Allegheny
Campus
–
Dept.
of
Music.
The
Saint
Francis
University
World
Drum
Ensemble
is
a
group
of
university
students,
faculty,
staff
and
community
members
who
gather
weekly
with
the
sole
purpose
of
enjoying
the
process
of
making
music
together.
The
ensemble's
repertoire
is
based
on
traditional
drumming
music
from
all
over
the
world
including,
Africa,
India
and
the
Americas.

faculty
member
Jim
Donovan
is
a
multi‐platinum
musician
whose
work
in
the
music
business
with
his
band
Rusted
Root
has
been
featured
in
major
motion
films
such
as
Ice
Age,
Twister,
Mathilda
as
well
as
on
various
network
television
shows
such
as
American
Idol,
David
Letterman,
Conan
O'Brien,
Party
of
Five
and
the
PBS
"Web
of
Life"
documentary.
His
touring
work
with
Rusted
Root
provided
opportunity
to
share
the
stage
with
rock
legends
such
as
Carlos
Santana,
The
Grateful
Dead,
Jimmy
Page
and
Robert
Plant,
and
Sting
among
others.
Donovan
has
developed
a
training
program
that
teaches
Occupational
Therapists,
medical
professionals,
parents
and
teachers
how
to
use
percussion
techniques
as
a
complementary
intervention
for
autistic
kids
and
children
with
other
disabilities.
