With respect to above cited subject, we would like to request your kind self to consider our suggestion to cancel Pre-Basic-I and Pre-Basic-II for Diploma holder candidates. As basic educational qualification require in TTA cadre is Diploma in technical field and covering all necessary subjects. All the candidates have recruited in BSNL by clearing a very tough examination from open market. Again they have selected for the post of JTO (T) by clearing very tough Limited Internal Competitive Examination with the entire technical subjects required for the JTO (T) post.
By cancelling Pre-Basic-I and Pre-Basic-II for Diploma holder candidates BSNL can drastically reduce expenditure on said trainings. Subjects being taught in these trainings are already cleared by all the JTO LICE qualified candidates in both examinations. Your kind self requested to consider our suggestions for expenditure control. Encl-2 1)
