Louise is now continuing in the family tradition and bringing her food heritage to a new generation. As a mother of two young children, Louise has a particular interest in childhood nutrition, children’s developing taste preferences and the role that families play in shaping those preferences.

In partnership with Julie Gibbs

Sweet Nourish will be published by Simon & Schuster Australia in partnership with Julie Gibbs, Australia’s most successful illustrated publisher. Julie was the force behind Penguin’s Lantern imprint which sold close to 2 million books and drove $100 million through Australian booksellers’ registers in 12 years. Julie was behind three of the most valuable Bookscan brands of all time: Stephanie Alexander, Kaz Cooke and the CSIRO Diets.

Foreword by Michelle Bridges

A foreword by Michelle Bridges will reaffirm Louise as a trusted voice in health and nutrition. Michelle has been in the health and fitness industry for 25 years and is the bestselling author of 13 books. Her highly successful 12 Week Body Transformation is Australia's top online exercise and mindset program, and has helped Australians lose more than 1.5 million kilos.

Media Partnerships

Louise is very well connected in the Australian media. She has two monthly features in taste.com.au magazine, is a columnist with Practical Parenting magazine, and a member of the Woolworths Baby and Toddler Club expert panel. Louise also appears regularly on Channel 7’s The Morning Show.

Recipe cards

We will be creating collectable recipe cards which will be used for both POS and publicity purposes.

Publicity

Publicity will be extract and interview-driven, targeting women's magazines and websites, as well as commercial television for cooking demonstrations. Our first extract is confirmed for taste.com.au magazine’s September issue. taste.com.au is Australia’s number one food and lifestyle brand and we will be working with them to also reach their impressive online audience.

Publicity

Leveraging Louise’s connections we anticipate we’ll secure a live cooking demonstration on Channel 7’s The Morning Show and a feature interview and extract in Practical Parenting magazine. We will also be pitching for a cooking segment on Network Ten’s Studio 10.

Publicity

We’re expecting widespread extract and review coverage across Australia and New Zealand in women’s magazines, websites and newspapers.

Marketing

We’ll create a paid Facebook advertising campaign in ANZ, leveraging Louise’s existing video content as well as the beautiful images in the book. Additionally we’ll publish recipes and articles by Louise on news sites nationally, such as ‘Five food swaps you won’t even notice’ and ‘These chocolate desserts are actually good for you’. These articles will appear on more than one hundred news and content websites via Outbrain, with the potential to reach 250,000 people.
