They both laugh because they find it amusing. A woman hands a ten-dollar note to the cashier. She is paying for a book that she has bought for her daughter. Continuous Response At The Bookshop This is a bookshop. There are two shelves full of storybooks and comics. The bookshop is crowded with young customers. A boy sits in a corner with a book. He is engrossed in reading. He takes no notice of what is going on around him. Standing beside him is a woman holding up a book. She is talking to a boy. He has a book in his right hand. They seem to be discussing which book to get. Two schoolgirls stand next to them. One of the girls is holding an open book. They are laughing and pointing to a picture in the book. It must be an amusing book. The cashier is attending to a customer. The lady customer hands her a ten-dollar note while an assistant puts the book into a bag. She is probably buying the book for her daughter who is standing just behind her. 2

The boy standing on the right is laughing so hard that tears flow from his eyes. They may be too noisy as this is a library. Behind them, the librarian is talking to a boy. She is explaining something in a book to the boy. The boy listens attentively. A boy is hiding in a corner of the library. He looks around slyly and quickly tears a page from a book. His two friends are standing on either side of him. They are all looking at the book and laughing. The boy standing up laughs so hard that tears stream from his eyes. They are making too much noise in the library. There is a lady librarian behind them. She is explaining something to a boy. He is listening attentively. Meanwhile, there is a boy hiding in a corner of the library. He looks around slyly and then quickly tears a page from the book he is holding. We should never do that. It is inconsiderate and dishonest. 4
