Dear Members: Welcome to the 2017-18 season! The Gleneagles Calendar of Events is sure to offer something for everyone, with a combination of entertainment, social, charitable, cultural and family events. Gleneagles members enjoy a great variety of social events from casual to black tie, morning until evening, and everything in between – the opportunities are endless! On Wednesday evenings, we will offer complimentary live music including piano, guitar and saxophone in the Legends Lounge from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. In addition, there will be select nights with Dancing in the Moonlight that will bring you live DJ entertainment on the Veranda. Dinner Shows are back and will feature incredible talent and a unique prix fixe dinner included with each show. All of our dinner shows will be held in the Legends Dining Room, and the stage area will ensure that everyone has a great seat to enjoy these can’t-be-missed events. Pick up a new hobby or visit a new local cultural attraction by participating in our lessons, classes and off property trips. Looking for culture? Our large cultural enrichment program includes numerous live speakers, a lunch and lecture, literary luncheon and the popular book club. We will offer movies, TED Talk video lectures and video documentaries. These events will be held at various times in order to appeal to everyone at the club.
Our theme parties will be spectacular! The Welcome Back Event will immerse you into the South Beach life, featuring the art deco and glitz of yesterday with Ocean Drive. We will be celebrating the New Year with a bit of sparkle at our All That Glitters Gala. Living at Gleneagles is like finding the winning golden ticket, and we will enjoy a night of pure imagination at our Season Celebration with a trip to the Gleneagles Chocolate Factory with Wonka. Adults and children of all ages can find a place to play at Gleneagles Country Club. A variety of activities will take place during winter break such as the Annual Winter Carnival, Junior Golf and Tennis Clinics, themed dining and entertainment, dance parties, kids’ bingo and more! Whether you are a kid or just a kid-at-heart, Gleneagles Country Club is happy to welcome you home! The Board, Management and Staff are committed to making this season at Gleneagles the highlight of your year. Enjoy!
