MARKET RELEASE 12 December 2016 Atrum Coal NL TRADING HALT
The securities of Atrum Coal NL (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 14 December 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1 and in support of this request, Atrum advises that: a) the trading halt is requested pending an announcement to be made by Atrum to the market in connection with a proposed capital raising and sell-down of the shares acquired by Argonaut Equity Partners Pty Ltd through the enforcement of security; b) it requires that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of: i.
such time as it makes an announcement to the market in connection with the proposed capital raising and sell-down of the shares acquired by Argonaut Equity Partners Pty Ltd through the enforcement of security; and
ii.
the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 14 December 2016;
