A VULNERABLE POPULATION Over 11 million seniors are either widowed or live alone. This population is in need of advocates and champions when some are at their most vulnerable. They need a voice to fight for them.

ADMISSIONS ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS For full admission students must:

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MUST ALSO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

▪ Possess a BA or BS from an accredited university.

▪ Official TOEFL scores (Institution Code: 4852).

▪ Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (any major). The GRE is no longer required for students meeting this requirement.

▪ Official transcripts indicating the award of all degrees with the title and date conferred in the applicant’s native language and an exact translation into English of each document.

For students with a cumulative GPA below 3.0, conditional admission may be granted: ▪ With a GRE score of 1,000+ on the old scoring system (taken pre-2012), or a GRE score of 300+ (taken post January 2012). ▪ Must achieve a 3.0 or better in first two courses and/or a positive faculty recommendation.

▪ Financial guarantee statement showing proof of the ability to pay all tuition and living expenses. ▪ TOEFL score (600 paper-based; 250 computer-based; 100 Internet-based). Students who completed their undergraduate degree in a non-English speaking country must take TOEFL.

To apply for admission to the USC Gerontology or Aging Services Management program, students must gather and submit the following materials:

Generally USC accepts up to 4 units. Students should provide the transcript, course content/syllabus, and textbooks/software used to help with credit evaluation. Transfer credit evaluation occurs after student has been admitted, so there is no way to predict acceptance when advising the student.
