May 24, 2013 NORWIN SCHOOL DISTRICT NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: Jonathan Szish, Coordinator of School and Community Relations, 724-861-3000 ext. 1150 LOCAL ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS EARNED BY THE CLASS OF 2013 NORTH HUNTINGDON –– Norwin High School students took advantage of numerous local scholarships this year, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in savings toward their college expenses. Here is a list of all the local academic scholarship winners provided by and coordinated through the Guidance Office. Scholarships that are underlined include a hyperlink to additional information and photos about the recipients that scholarship groups submitted to the School District Office of School and Community Relations. In addition to the listing of local scholarships provided below, many Norwin School District students received scholarships from colleges and universities and other organizations. These can be found in the Class of 2013 Commencement Program.
