MEDIA ADVISORY Stanislas in Toronto on November 27 & 28

As part of the “Toronto Draws Tintin” artshow, Stanislas will be in attendance on November 27 at the Steam Whistle Gallery. He will also participate to a conversation with the comics author Arnaud Boutle, on November 28, at the Alliance Française de Toronto.

November 18, 2011, Toronto – The “Toronto Draws Tintin” artshow takes place until November 27 at the Steam Whistle Gallery. Featuring the work of dozens of comics artists and illustrators from Toronto, this event is a celebration of Tintin and his creator Hergé, and features dozens of pieces of original artwork which are auction off in support of The Comic Legends Legal Defense Fund. Stanislas, who will also be in Toronto on the occasion of the release of the English translation of Les Aventures d'Hergé, a biography in comics' form of Tintin's famous author, will be in attendance for the artshow closing on Sunday, November 27. And he will discuss with Arnaud Boutle about comics at the Alliance Française de Toronto on Monday November 28. *** Stanislas is one of the creators, with Jean-Christophe Menu, Lewis Trondheim, David B., Matt Konture, Patrice Killoffer and Mokeït, of the famous comic books publishing house L’Association. He is extremely prolific and his bibliography is huge.
