MEDIA RELEASE January 5, 2016 NEOVIA LOGISTICS OPENS FACILITY IN HALTON HILLS PREMIER GATEWAY HALTON HILLS, ON – Irving-based Neovia Logistics invited Mayor Bonnette to cut the ribbon of their new Halton Hills facility located at 8041 Fifth Line. The building which currently is the largest industrial property in Halton Hills at approximately 435,000 sq. ft. is being fully used for product distribution. The building which was constructed by First Gulf Developments for owner Sun Life is a state of the art facility employing many energy efficient features. Neovia provides contract logistics services on six continents, 25 countries, 117 customer locations and ships to over 190 countries. The company employs up to 150 employees in the Halton Hills facility. In welcoming the new company and its employees to Halton Hills, Mayor Rick Bonnette said, “I am pleased to welcome Neovia to the Premier Gateway. You now join other progressive companies that have chosen the Premier Gateway to establish their businesses. To date we have attracted over two million sq. ft. of new structures housing over 2,500 employees”. The company had outgrown their facilities in Mississauga, and according to David Griffith, Senior Vice President of Neovia, the Halton Hills location offered the company the most strategic location for the expanded operation. He stated, “The products that we distribute must be delivered in a timely manner and being located within 1 km of Highway 401 provides for a trouble free delivery to our clients”. The Haltom Hills Premier Gateway along the southern border of Halton Hills provides fully serviced lots for a variety of industrial and commercial uses.
