Member profile:Diefenbunker Diefenbunker is Ottawa’s most unique National Historic Site—just a 10-minute drive northwest of the Canadian Tire Centre in the Village of Carp. Built at the height of the Cold War, the Bunker is a massive 100,000 square foot, 4-storey underground bunker. It was meant to protect key government and military officials in the event of a nuclear attack on Canada and remained operational until it was decommissioned in 1994. In 1998, it reopened as a private, not-for-profit museum. Today, it offers award-winning programs, tours, an escape room, Spy Camp, and birthday parties. It is also the perfect place to hold a team meeting or special event. Visit the Bunker and take shelter underground.

Three Chamber Members Collaborate to Launch a New Joint Venture
Stayci Keetch, Kimothy Walker and Andrée Paige
In recent years, the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce’s membership has experienced prolific growth—in number, age range, diversity, and industry representation. With more than 700 members representing 27,000 employees, our goal is to empower existing and future business leaders through advocacy, dialogue and connections. For three of our Chamber members, the theme for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2018—Time is Now—was well-aligned with the announcement of their joint venture: NOW Integrated Marketing and Communications. By combining the resources of three successful marketing and communications strategists, three companies and three networks, Stayci Keetch of Eyes On Ottawa, Kimothy Walker of Ottawa Media Group (OMG) and Andrée Paige of The Write Paige offer a collaborative approach to custom-building strategies for clients wanting to launch, repair or supercharge their brands. Kimothy Walker explains, “When I started to teach CEOs internationally about the concept of integrated marketing and communications, I knew I wanted to provide them with an exceptional, full-service experience. I partnered with these driven women not because of their gender, but because I was looking for the best in the industry.”
Stayci Keetch says, “When Kimothy approached me with the concept, the timing was perfect for my business. My clients were enjoying our video and branding services so much, they were asking if Eyes On Ottawa could manage the rest of their marketing as well. I needed a solution that allowed me to focus on building brands with amazing content, not managing a team of juniors.” Andrée Paige adds, “We kept crossing paths at Chamber events or getting invited to the board rooms of Chamber members who wanted to work with all three of us. We’ve found that service overlaps between our companies are a win-win-win for us and our clients. Our businesses have now tripled in executive-level strength, allowing us to be in three places at once or to channel three minds, three talents and three networks into a single kick-a$$ strategy—and yes, we spell it with dollar signs. This is about contributing to wealth creation in our business community.” Connect! here to learn more about NOW Integrated Marketing and Communications © ALL RIGHTS © ALL RESERVED. RIGHTS RESERVED.
