From small to large systems
Metrum´s energy and power quality measurement system “Metrum PQ Controller DB” is developed for small to large scale solutions. The system includes automatic download software, global event viewers, graphical client software and report generators direct from the central SQL-server.
The Metrum PQ Controller DB system is made to be easy to operate and to be flexible from small to large scale systems. The Metrum PQ Controller client software can be installed on any number of computers and will collect and present the data from the central Metrum server.
The system is the perfect choice together with Metrums class A measurement instruments for total supervision of the electrical grid. The system is made as a client/server application and this gives benifits when several users can analyse data from the central server at the same time and from different locations.

System overview The Metrum PQ Controller DB system gives a total solution for automatic supervision of power quality in an electrical grid. The system includes all parts from automatic download services, client viewer applications and the central SQL server. All models of the Metrum measurement instruments (both fixed and portable) are compatible with the database solution and can therefore be used in the same system.
Analysis alternatives The client software can be used to evaluate measurement information with local/global event viewers, realtime viewers, graphical viewers and report generators. The client software can also be used to perform statistical analysis of all stored measurement data in the central database.
The system also includes automatic alarm features, export/import services and web browser modules.

Analysis tools The client software includes all necessary parts for the best possible analysis of energy and power quality information. The system can be used in operational centre including the local/global event viewers that highlights severe events including measurement location, time, type of event and also detailed graphical disturbance analysis. Use the system to analyse trends using the powerful graphical analysis tools. Use the built-in statistical viewers for network planning. Or use the built-in report generators to create a full report according to voltage quality standards like EN 50 160 - all following the Metrum red and green concept - it can´t be easier!
