MiFi Wireless Internet Device Parental/Guardian Consent and Acceptable Use Agreement The Durham District School Board is happy to provide students with mobile internet access, through a MiFi device, to increase students’ ability to leverage educational digital tools at home. The MiFi is to be used by DDSB students for educational purposes only and is subject to the same restrictions and filtering as found on DDSB school internet networks. Students that use the MiFi devices will be expected to abide by the DDSB Acceptable and Safe Use Policy - Procedure 3101 as agreed to through the online student verification system and student registration forms. Lost or damaged devices may be subject to a replacement cost of $341.95 + tax. Factory reset devices will be subject to a configuration cost of $90. If you have any questions about the MiFi or expectations around use, or require a hard copy of the DDSB Acceptable and Safe Use Policy, please contact your child’s school.
