Ministerial Search Committee Process The Ministerial Search Committee is formed by the Board of Trustees, after soliciting names from the congregation. The Committee conducts information gathering from the congregation. After conducting a congregational survey, cottage meetings and the Beyond Categorical Thinking weekend, the Search Committee creates an extensive Congregational Record and a Congregational Packet. The Congregational Record and Congregational Packet is exchanged with the Ministerial Records and Ministerial Packets of interested ministers in early January, followed by three months of evaluations and interviews. There will be a selection of pre-candidates with follow up weekend meetings and an offer to one of those candidates no earlier than April 7. During April and May our negotiating team concludes the ministerial agreement, UUCF hosts a one week -two Sunday- candidate week for our chosen candidate (and possible family), the congregation votes and if approved, the congregation extends the call and the minister accepts. Our new minister arrives August/September 2016.
