• Mixed mnemotechnics Eg. Keyword method + visualization - You need to remember 2 words a)“supination” b)“pronation” a) rotation of the hands and forearms so that the palms face upward SOUP (keyword) b) rotation of the hands and forearms so that the palms face downward Visualize a person carrying a plate of soup!

• Mnemotechnics can be successfully used in remembering: – New vocabulary – Definitions – Concepts, terms – Scientific facts – Procedures – Persons, ... However – not appropriate for all contexts and all students
