Sir, the topic raised by Mortazavi on health effects of mobile phone radiofrequency radiation is very interesting [1]. Mortazavi mentioned for a reference published by Wolff [2]. In fact, there are many concerns on the adverse effects from mobile phone radiofrequency. Mortazavi raised an interesting argument on pro- versus con- health effects of mobile phone radiofrequency radiation [1]. It is no doubt that this issue is controversial. It is an interesting issue for not only the health scientist but also the others. The important question is whether mobile phone radiofrequency radiation really causes any health adverse effect. Is there any scientific evidence? It seems that there is no experimental study or trial on the adverse effect of mobile phone. Also, there is no meta-analysis to support that the mobile phone radiofrequency radiation can induce “adverse effect”. For example, there is no strong scientific evidence that can lead to the conclusion that cellular phone radiofrequency radiation causes any adverse effect on germ cell and reproductive health [3]. In addition, another report by Waldmann et al. also showed no effect of mobile phone radiofrequency radiation on human blood cell [4]. It was concluded that mobile phone radiofrequency radiation caused no genotoxicity [4]. Indeed, several meta-analyses reveal the same conclusion that there is null, not good or bad, health effect of mobile radiofrequency radiation [5 – 6]. Here, it should conclude that there is no adverse effect or beneficial health effect of mobile phone radiofrequency radiation.
