MOBILE WEB DEVELOPER (HTML5, CSS3, JAVASCRIPT) Position: Full time

Reports To: VP, Professional Services

Location: GTA (minimal travel required)

Education: Post secondary education in computers, engineering or a related discipline Experience: 5+ years

POSITION SUMMARY As a member of our core agile delivery team, you will help build innovative and inspiring solutions for a range of organizations including many of North America’s top companies. RESPONSIBILITIES • Apply your broad-based mobile web application development expertise to create practical, innovative solutions.

• Interact with Software Engineers/Developers to integrate with backend services and enterprise systems.

• Efficiently implement clean, maintainable, and testable software.

• Apply excellent communications skills, creativity and practical knowledge to benefit our clients and to effectively represent Architech.

• Interact directly with Architech’s partners and clients. • Maintain clear communications with all stakeholders throughout project life cycles.

• Participate in agile project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • Post secondary education in computers, engineering or equivalent training/experience.

• Experienced with one or more Javascript libraries such as JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, MooTools

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with modern browser support and accessibility.

• Solid understanding of client deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them.

• Experience with RDBMS (eg. Oracle, MySql, PostgreSQL).

• Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must. • 5+ years designing & implementing interactive, data-intensive Internet applications. • Expert Javascript skills. • Expert semantic, standards compliant HTML/HTML5 skills. • Expert CSS skills.

• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and/or REST) is a real asset. • Experience with Source Control Management. • Experience with one or more Java and .NET Web Frameworks such as Spring MVC, ASP.NET MVC • Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium • Applicants with agile project experience will be given preference. • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must.
