SEIZED/FROZEN CAM BOLT TOYOTA TRUCKS

PROBLEM:

SOLUTION:

Corrosion freezes the camber bolt in place

MOOG® Problem Solver® greaseable camber adjustment bolt

The camber adjustment bolt on lower control arms of certain Toyota trucks is subject to excessive corrosion (especially in the North, where salt is prevalent). The corrosion seizes the bolt and/or sleeve in the bushing, preventing rotation. The seized parts prevent the vehicle from being aligned properly. The process of removing the seized bolt can be difficult and may damage the bushing.

The MOOG® Problem Solver® camber adjustment bolt features a fully greaseable design that prevents corrosion. A grease fitting on one end of the bolt allows grease flow inside. An engineered grease channel in the bolt lets grease flow out and along the interior and exterior of the sleeve to keep the bolt and sleeve lubricated. With these features enabling regular maintenance, the MOOG camber adjustment bolt will remain adjustable even after many miles of service in harsh conditions.
