First Church Drama Ministry Presents Moon Over Buffalo A comedy by Ken Ludwig Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
Friday and Saturday April 8 and 9 at 7:30pm Sunday April 10 at 2:00pm Set in Buffalo in 1953, Charlotte and George Hay are an acting couple on tour with a repertory consisting of "Cyrano de Bergerac" and Noel Coward's "Private Lives". Fate has given these actors one more shot at starring roles in The Scarlet Pimpernel epic and director Frank Capra himself is en route to Buffalo to catch their performance. Will Charlotte appear or run off with their agent? Will George be sober enough to emote? Hilarious misunderstandings pile on madcap misadventures, in this valentine to theater hams everywhere. The show stars Jonathan Smith as George Hay, Lisa Chaloner as Charlotte Hay, Katie Weiss as Rosalind Hay, Anna Christoph as Ethel, Peter Chaloner as Howard, Daniel Weiss as Paul Singer, Dick Young as Richard Maynard, and Crystal Edington as Eileen. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for seniors and students. *The show contains language that may not be appropriate for all audiences. Music provided by Jazz First and refreshments will be sold to benefit the mission trips.
